Game Introduction

Hello and welcome to the premier women's rugby match! This competition has developed substantially and better each season, from just four teams back in 2018 to a much more significant 12 teams. Remarkably, we still ended up with the Roosters and Broncos in the championship game, exactly like back in 2018.

Each squad have been outstanding throughout the campaign – Sydney remains undefeated in 2025 and the Broncos have lost only one game. Each team boast star players across the park and both are perfectly capable of securing the win at their best.

Their previous encounter occurred in match week three – earlier this season – when the Roosters secured a tight triumph by only four points. In that game, Sydney began powerfully, created a comfortable break margin, before the Broncos mounted a late game rally. Olivia Kernick notched a decisive final touchdown to secure the victory for the reigning champions in a thrilling contest. Should the two sides replicate that intensity from their last encounter, spectators are guaranteed a superb match today.

Considering the buildup ahead of us, the action commences!
